Stainless mirror polish to #8 reflectivity. Aluminum and brass satin for consumer product aesthetics.
Sealing Surfaces
Flat lapping and polish on vacuum flange faces and valve seats — verified on profilometer when specified.
After Machining
Polish as final op after deburr and passivation — we protect critical dimensions during finishing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you polish after anodizing?
Anodizing is typically final. Polishing is done before anodize on aluminum, or on stainless/brass as the last cosmetic step.
How do you define mirror finish?
We use industry #6–#8 grit progression references and can provide profilometer Ra values when your drawing specifies a numeric target.
Will polishing remove too much material?
Light cosmetic polish removes microns. Heavy mirror polish on tight tolerances requires pre-machining undersize — note finish callouts on your drawing.
